The Action Alliance on Monday, released ait time table and schedules of activities for the 2023 general elections.
A statement jointly signed by the National Chairman, Chief Barr. Kenneth Udeze and National Secretary, Mr. Vernimbe A. James said that commencement of sale of party’s intent/nomination forms at the party’s National headquarters Abuja was on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 8.00 am prompt.
TheFact Nigeria gathered that the party was acting in compliance with the guidelines released by the Independent National Elections Commission, [INEC] for the 2023 general elections.
As stated by the Action Alliance schedules, the last day for sale of party’s intent/nomination forms at the party’s national headquarters Abuja was on Sunday 15th May, 2022 at 11.59 pm.
The last day for submission of all completed forms at the party’s National headquarters Abuja would be on Monday 16th May, 2022 at 11.59 pm.
The Action Alliance also said that youths and women of ages between 25 to 35 years with verifiable birth certificate or declaration of age would only pay 50% of the cost of nomination forms.
Persons with disability (PWD) aspirants would only pay for the cost of intent form while nomination forms are free of charge.
Action Alliance also told its aspirants that all payments are to be made at the party’s national headquarters Abuja and there would be no refund of money after payment.
The Party said that screening of all House of Assembly aspirants would hold at its national headquarters Abuja on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 between 7.00 am to 9.00 pm.
Action Alliance also said that appeals would be entertained on the same day May 17, 2022 between 9.00 pm — 11.00 pm.
Screening of all National Assembly aspirants for the House of
Representatives and Senate would hold on Wednesday May 18, 2022 between 7.00 am to 9.00 pm.
Appeals would be entertained on the same day, May 18, 2022 between 9.00 pm — 11.00 pm.
Screening of all Governorship and Presidential aspirants would hold at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja on Thursday May 19, 2022 between 7.00 am to 9.00 pm.
According to the schedules, appeals would hold on the same day, May 19, 2022, between 9.00 pm — 11.00 pm.
Submission of list of all successful screened and qualified Aspirants and other accompanied documents for the party’s 2023 General elections to INEC headquarters Abuja is on Friday May 20, 2022 as required.
House of Assembly primaries nationwide would be held simultaneously on Saturday May 28, 2022 at the House of Assembly Constituency headquarters at 10 am prompt, while the House of Representatives primaries nationwide would be held simultaneously on Sunday May 29, 2022 at the House of Representatives Federal Constituency headquarters at 10 am prompt.
Senatorial primaries nationwide are to be held simultaneously on Monday, May 30, 2022 at the Senatorial district headquarters at 10 am prompt.
Governorship primaries nationwide are to be held simultaneously on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at the state capitals at 10.00 prompt.
A meeting of the National Think Tank Committee (NTTC) of the party to confirm the list of all party’s candidates (except presidential) for 2023 General elections before submission to INEC headquarters Abuja would hold on Thursday June 2, 2022 at a venue to be communicated to members concerned. Time is 8. 00am prompt.
190 Special National Convention for presidential primaries and issuance of Certificate of Returns to all qualified Action Alliance Candidates for 2023 General Elections is on Friday 3rd June 2022 in Abuja at 4.00 pm prompt.
For the cost of forms, State House of Assembly Intent form costs – N 100,000 while Nomination forms costs – N 400, 000.
For the House of Representatives, Intent form costs N500, 000 while Nomination forms cost- NI,000, 000.
For Senatorial, the Intent form costs –N1,000, 000 while for Governorship, Intent form costs – N2,000,000 even as the Nomination forms costs – N4,000,000.
For the Presidential, Intent form costs- N5,000,000 while Nomination forms costs- N10,000,000.
AA said that criteria for accreditation of all delegates to all Party primaries nationwide and national convention is with Party’s valid membership card while the mode of the conduct of Party primaries will be made known in due course.
