Female Presidential Aspirant, Nana-Asma'u Jibrin.

A female presidential aspirant, Nana-Asma’u Jibrin has told women and youth to fully participate in the political process ahead of 2023.

Mrs Jibrin said this at the Kano Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on Friday while declaring her intention to join presidential race in 2023.

TheFact Nigeria noted that rs Jibrin has now joined the likes of renowned entrepreneur and youth development advocate, Khadijah Okunnu-Lamidi who had earlier declared her interest in President Muhammadu Buhari’s job.

Jibrin said women and youths were in the best position to salvage Nigeria from its current situation.

She therefore urged them to come out en masse to get their Personal Voter’s Card (PVC) in order to take over leadership of the country.

Mrs Jibrin however said that she would reveal her political party in the next couple of weeks, saying “I call on Nigerians to vote for me in 2023 in order to get a better life.”

She said that as a woman, she was setting an example to her fellow women to come out boldly and join politics as that was the only way the lives of women and youths would be improved.

“I am a Nigerian. I have the right to contest for office of the President or any other political office. That is why I call on my fellow women and youths to come out and join politics.

“I will set example for women and youths. I will open the door for them to join politics in order to salvage this country,” she said.
