The ECOWAS Special Envoy to Mali and former President Goodluck Jonathan visited President Muhammadu Buhari today at the State House.

According a Facebook post by Buhari, he is committed to finding lasting solution to the crisis in Mali. Away from that, see how these two top players practice the physical distancing rule as COVID-19 pandemic rages in Nigeria.

“Today I received a comprehensive report from the ECOWAS Special Envoy to Mali, former President Goodluck Jonathan, on the political situation in the country.

“Regarding the way forward, we will ask the President of Niger, who is the Chairman of ECOWAS, to brief us as a group. We are determined to find a lasting solution to the crisis,” said Buhari, after his meeting with Jonathan.

Dr Jonathan was accompanied by President of ECOWAS Commission, H.E Jean-Claude Kassi Brou to the State visit.
