Breaking: Kano confirms first case of COVID-19

The Kano State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, has confirmed an index case of Coronavirus in the state.

The state on Saturday, recorded its first COVID-19 case, since the outbreak of the disease in Nigeria.

Tsanyawa said, the state government would soon make an official announcement on the development as the governor was said to be in a meeting with health experts and the state COVID19 Committee.
