Breaking: Petroleum Minister, Sylva Resigns Appointment

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva.

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, and former Bayelsa State Governor, Chief Timipre Sylva has resigned his appointment from President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.

Sylva’s resignation was announced on personal Twitter handle of Special Assistant on Digital Communications to President Buhari, Bashir Ahmad on Friday, March 31, 2023.

TheFact Daily gathered that the Minister resigned his appointment to contest in the next Bayelsa governorship election.
