Correctional Services Acting CG Charged To Continue Giant Strides Of Predecessor

Acting Comptroller General (CG), Nigerian Correctional Services, John Mrabure.

Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has charged the newly appointed Acting Comptroller General (CG), Nigerian Correctional Services, John Mrabure, to continue in the giant strides of his predecessor in the interim as he awaits the appointment of a substantive CG by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Minister gave the charge on Tuesday, when the management of the Civil Defence, Corrections, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) led by Major-General Emmanuel E. Bassey (rtd) paid him a courtesy visit, and during which, DCG John Mrabure was presented to the Minister.

In the last few days since taking over, DCG Mrabure reported he has taken swift action to reposition the Service. The Minister encouraged him to complete ongoing projects which are of utmost importance to the Buhari administration whilst also keeping the morale of the men high.
