FG Committed To Youth Entrepreneurship Development For Industrial Growth- Minister

Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adebayo.

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Richard Adeniyi has said that the federal government is out to ensure youth entrepreneurship development that will lead to industrial growth for the country.

Otunba Adeniyi made this known while playing host to the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN) who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

TheFact Nigeria learned that the youth were also in the Minister’s office to confer on him an award of “Garkuwan Matassan Arewa,” meaning, “Icon and Cynosure of Societal Transformation” as part of activities marking his birthday.

He highlighted on the payroll support scheme for artisans and entrepreneurs who might have suffered some setbacks during the period of the Covid-19 lockdown.

Speaking on behalf of the youth, Barrister Abdul Malik Alfa said that the Minister deserved the award in his recognition in the area of industrial development in the country, love for humanity and God.

In his acceptance speech, the Minister promised to support the youth in the country and ensure that the rate of unemployment is reduced through job creation.
