Help Lift 100m Nigerians Out Of Poverty, Minister Tells Reappointed ITF D-G

Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adebayo.

You must assist Mr. President to deliver on his promise of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in the next ten years.

Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Richard Adebayo gave the charge to the Director- General of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Sir, Joseph Ntung Ari on his reappointment.

Recall that Mr. Ari was first appointed as the DG in 2016 and served for four years.

His reappointment takes effect from September 26, 2020.

A statement signed by Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, Permanent Secretary in the ministry said Adebayo commended President Muhammadu Buhari for reappointing Sir, Joseph Ntung Ari for another four year term in office.

The approval for the Director General’s reappointment was contained in a letter to the Minister via the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President dated July 16, 2020.

The Minister further urged the Director-General to work hard and cooperate with the management and staff of the ITF to move the agency forward.
