IPMAN Directs Members To Shut Filling Stations In Borno State

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has directed its members in Borno State to suspend operations in all filling stations.

The Association’s decision was communicated in a circular issued to all marketers by its Chairman in Maiduguri, Alhaji Mohammed Kuluwu on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

The IPMAN Chair, Maiduguri branch, told the TheFact Daily on phone that the circular was for only Borno State members and not nationwide.

He pointed out imposition of the petroleum product price by the authority as one of the reasons for taking the decision.

Alhaji Kuluwu said, “following the critical situation as it affect our sourcing and selling of product at lost and the action of the authority to impose the selling of product at a lost price on our side.

“You are all hereby directed to suspend selling at all filling stations and also suspend payment of ordering products from source until further notice”, he directed.
