The Ogun State House of Assembly Speaker, Olakunle Oluomo, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Oluomo was reportedly arrested around 9am Thursday at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

Sources say he was picked up by officials of the anti-graft Agency to answer questions bordering on alleged financial crimes.

Also, a source within the Commission revealed that Oluomo had been invited by the EFCC several times but failed to honour the invitations.

He has been taken to the EFCC’s Lagos office for further questioning.

Although the Commission has not yet issued a statement, it is expected they would do so shortly.
