TheFact Nigeria reports that the Permanent Secretary’s representative when interviewed, said he had no idea of how much it cost the Ministry to purchase the vehicles.

It was gathered that the FMITI had last year, distributed the same number of operational vehicles to the zonal offices.

Alhaji Aliyu said: “Last year, the ones given were for the state coordinators. Today, we are giving to the zonal coordinators who are in charge of the zones.

“As for the cost of the vehicles, I am not in the position to tell you because it has gone through the normal procurement process and so on. I am not a procurement man”.

Galadima said the FMITI distributed the vehicles to enhance the performance of staff and increase revenue generation for government.
Coordinator, North Central, Mr. Mohammed Labaran while receiving the keys on behalf of his colleagues, said: “We will do our best to see to effective and efficient revenue generation”.
