Voter Registration: Kaduna State Govt Declares 3-day Public Holidays

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai

The Kaduna State Government has declared Wednesday, 27th – Friday, 29th July 2022 as public holidays to enable residents of the state complete their voter registration before the deadline set by INEC.

Special Adviser to Governor Nasiru El-rufai on Media & Communication, Muyiwa Adekeye disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday 26th July, 2022.

It read in part: “A statement from Sir Kashim Ibrahim House urged all eligible residents of the State to seize this window to register to vote, and to therefore be in a position to exercise their right to vote.

“The statement disclosed that the government requests all employers to actively support their staff to register before INEC closes voter registration on 31st July 2022”.
