Suspected Killers Of Popular Abuja Chef Nabbed

Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have arrested three suspects in connection with the death of popular Nigerian Chef, Mr Vincent Eluagu Chukwuemeka, popularly known as Chef Emeka.

According to a statement by the Command’s Spokesperson, DSP Josephine Adeh, the investigations by the police team led to the arrest of the three male suspects, namely Kingsley Obinna, Musa Tanimu and Mohammed Sha’aba, for their complicity in the crime.

TheFact Nigeria reports that Chukwuemeka ‘Chef Emeka’ Vincent-Eloagu, a widely loved and admired Nigerian Chef who used his culinary skills to draw global attention to Nigerian cuisines, was found dead in his apartment in Abuja on Sunday August 1, 2021. His wife, Chidinma, a music artiste and former brand ambassador of Globacom, reportedly attended a church programme while the assailants struck. She returned home to find her husband lying on the floor in their apartment at Katampe extension in Abuja. He was 37.

Following the gruesome murder, the FCT Police Command commenced discreet investigations to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death.

“Investigations by the homicide section of the Command Criminal Investigations Department (CID) clearly revealed how the suspects gruesomely murdered their victim in cold blood.

“The CP, while condoling with the family and friends of the deceased, assured that the suspects would be charged to court upon completion of the investigations”, the statement said.
