Former Senator of the Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani has described the kidnapping of The Punch newspaper reporter, Okechukwu Nnodim as tragic.
The Senator said that his thoughts and prayers were with him and his family in these trying times.
On his verified twitter handle, @ShehuSani wrote: “The news that a Punch reporter, Okechukwu Nnodim has been kidnapped from his home at Kubwa, Abuja is tragic. My thoughts and prayers for him and his family.”

It was reported that Nnodim was abducted by yet to be identified gun men at his residence in the Arab road area of Kubwa in Abuja on Wednesday night, and has not been released.
