Accolades As NTIC Celebrates Silver Jubilee

Encomiums continue to pour in as the
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) formerly known as the Nigerian Turkish International College celebrate 25 years of its existence.

The anniversary ceremony held on Saturday, May 19, 2024 in Abuja was
well attended by top politicians, academicians, religious leaders and parents.

Managing Director of NTIC, Feyzullah Bilgin in his remarks stated that the focus of the school was to raise individuals who are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge of the contemporary world and also to transform individuals and societies for a brighter future.

He noted that, “our dedication to student development and our outstanding academic achievements led to the opening of more branches in five different states of Nigeria, giving us a total number of 16 branches in five states; Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, Yobe And Lagos”.

Reeling out some milestones recorded by the school, he said:

“Our consistent success in exams such as JAMB, WAEC, NECO, SAT, IELTS and various international and national exams and competition is attributed to our dedicated teachers and administrators. They are constantly trained to prepare their students for success and we provide the state of the art facilities to support their efforts.

“Despite the challenges posed by insurgency in the early 2010s, we remained committed to uninterrupted education.

“When COVID-19 break struck in 2022, NTIC swiftly transitioned to a digital classroom, ensuring that students could continue their education from the safety of their homes”.

He informed that in the same 2022, the school launched a new sport academy in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Sports which provided them with the opportunity to nurture young athletes.

Also, In 2020, they became an accredited Cambridge School by the Cambridge International Education, giving their students the opportunity for a world class learning.

“This year, about 59 NTIC students scored about 300 in the 2024 UTME.
Most of our students have received scholarships from renowned universities around the world and are excelling in their various endeavors”, the Director said.

Concluding his remarks, Bilgin said, “success is not an accident or an occurrence based on a chance but on work, dedication and excellence and these are what we would stay true to”.

On his part, Chairman of the occasion, Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen who was represented by his deputy, commended NTIC’s academic achievements over the past 25 years, attributing its success to a culture of excellence and a spirit of collaboration with various stakeholders.

Similarly, Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), and the longest serving PTA Chairman of the school, Alhaji Jalal Ahmad Arabi, informed that the sheer determination observed in the pioneers of the school was what made him stick with them.

He further encouraged the staff to be sincere and hard working, he also encouraged the parents to continue believing in the staff adding that they were honest and determined to discharge their duties effectively.

Highlight of the anniversary celebration was the presentation of awards honoring the dedication and contributions of longstanding staff members, supportive institutions, and outstanding parents and alumni.
