The newly appointed Acting Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Major General Olufemi Oluyede, has held a high-level security meeting with Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Christopher Musa and National Security Adviser (NSA) Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
The meeting which took place on Thursday at the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) in Abuja, underscored the administration’s emphasis on security continuity and cooperation.
Details of the meeting, however have yet to be disclosed.
It will be recalled that President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, announced the appointment of Oluyede as Acting COAS while the substantive COAS, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, receives medical treatment abroad.
