Adamawa Police Investigate Death Of Law Student

The Adamawa State Police Command has launched an investigation into the death of a 27-year-old law student, Ojajuni Ayomiposi, at the Nigerian Law School, Yola Campus.

The Command’s Spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement issued on Sunday night, said Ayomiposi, an indigene of Ondo State, was found unconscious after jumping over the school fence.

According to him, on December 6, 2025, at about 11:30 am, Ojajuni returned to the campus in a tricycle, visibly staggering, and jumped over the fence into the hostel premises. A security guard later found him vomiting and unconscious.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was admitted s as d began receiving treatment but pronounced dead shortly after.

Nguroje said his body has been deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy, even as investigations continue.

Meanwhile theCommissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has ordered a thorough probe to determine the circumstances surrounding Ojajuni’s death.

It is noted that this is the first time Nigerian Law School, Yola campus, will record the death of a student since the school was established close to 20 years ago.
