Benue Monarch, Abu King Shuluwa Is Dead
Benue First Class Chief, the Tor Sankera, His Royal Highness Abu King Shuluwa is dead.
His death was announced in a statement by the Secretary of the Tiv Area Traditional Council, Shinyi Tyozua on Saturday.
Tyozua disclosed that the traditional ruler passed on Tuesday, January 16 at the Federal Medical Centre Makurdi at the age of 79.
According to the statement, the late chief will be buried on February 10 this year in Kastina-Ala Local Government Area of the State.
The statement said, the burial programme will be released in due course.
Until his death, Shuluwa was the Chairman of Sankera Intermediate Area Traditional Council comprising Kastina-Ala, Ukum, and Logo Local Government Areas of Benue State, North-Central Nigeria.
