The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) says it is currently investigating complaints lodged against Blord Group of Companies, and is interrogating its CEO, Linus Williams.
The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Olumuyiwa Adejobi, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
According to him, the companies include Blord Group, Blord Real Estate Ltd, Blord Jetpaye Limited, and Billpoint Technology.
The investigations are based on allegations bordering on cryptocurrency fraud, aiding internet fraud, computer-related fraud, terrorism funding, and non-compliance with regulatory frameworks.
“We will do due diligence in our investigations”, Adejobi stated, adding that, “our cyber space in Nigeria must be safe and secured by all means. We are committed to achieving that”.
