Former President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly died in a hospital in London, where he has been receiving treatment.
His death was announced in a statement signed on Sunday by his Spokesman, Garba Shehu.
The statement said, “The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London.

“May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.”
Buhari was Nigeria’s President between 2015 and 2023.
