The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Radda, has declared Friday 12th April, 2024 a work free day.
This follows the earlier decision of the Federal Government to extend the Ed-fitr public holidays to Thursday, April 11, 2024.
The state’s Commissioner of Information and Culture, Dr. Bala Zango who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday said, the governor’s decision was to enable the workers in the state fully enjoy the Eid-El-Fitr Sallah celebration with their families.
He said, Gov. Radda wishes the good people of Katsina state a happy and peaceful Sallah celebration.
He said, the governor further urged the people to be security conscious and pray for peace to reign in the state and the nation at large as they celebrate this year’s ED-FITR.
