FG Woos French Investors In Paris

The Federal Government of Nigeria has called on investors in Paris, France to take advantage of the numerous investment opportunities in the country.

Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, made the call while addressing a distinguished audience of French and Nigerian business leaders, policymakers, and investors at the France-Nigeria Business Forum in Paris.

Mr Edun, in a statement on Sunday by the Director, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Finance, Mr Mohammed Manga, outlined priority sectors for investment to include Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Technology and the creative industries, while also highlighting government initiatives such as tax holidays, duty waivers, and the development of Special Economic Zones (SEZs).

The Minister reiterated Nigeria’s focus on strengthening regulatory frameworks to support foreign and local investments.

As Nigeria continues to demonstrate its readiness to attract investment and foster international partnerships, the France-Nigeria Business Forum has provided a pivotal platform to deepen economic ties between the two nations.
