FRSC Honours Outstanding Personnel, Reinforces Integrity

By Anne Osemekeh, Abuja

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has rewarded outstanding personnel as part of efforts to strengthen integrity, transparency, and professionalism within the service.

FRSC’s spokesperson, Felicia Kalu, disclosed this on Tuesday, saying that Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed presented commendation letters and cash rewards to selected officers and marshals at a ceremony in Abuja, recognising their consistent adherence to ethical standards and exemplary conduct on duty.

According to the FRSC boss, the awardees were drawn from commands across the country and were honoured not for isolated acts, but for sustaining a culture of discipline, accountability, and professional excellence in line with the Corps’ core values.

He said the initiative is part of a broader institutional framework aimed at motivating personnel, building public trust, and reinforcing the FRSC’s zero-tolerance policy on unethical behaviour.

The Corps Marshal stressed that integrity remains central to effective law enforcement, noting that the organisation will continue to reward conduct that enhances its public image and operational efficiency.

He added that the recognition is both a celebration of excellence and a call to other personnel to uphold the Corps’ values, while reaffirming management’s commitment to providing the support and incentives needed to drive professionalism across all levels.
