FRSC Unveils Redesigned Official Website

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has redesigned its official website, tailored to meet the evolving needs of Nigerians and all road users.

The Corps, on its X handle on Sunday disclosed that the initiative was in its quest for progress in tandem with contemporary realities and introduce dynamism in its operations for ease of doing business.

It will be recalled that the Corps’ website was ranked the best in the country out of 315 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAS) in the 5th edition of the Federal Government Scorecard for ranking websites of MDAs. This ranking was objectively carried out by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR).

The upgraded website, accessible at frsc.gov.ng serves as a one-stop hub for everything related to road safety administration and traffic regulation in Nigeria.

The platform is built to offer timely, credible, and engaging content aimed at saving lives and promoting safe motoring culture across the country.

“It is in the Corps’ continuous bid to sustain excellence and high performance and in line with the new requirements on website ranking by subject matter experts from NITDA and BPSR which was subsequently upgraded to the present status”, the Corps said, describing the newly designed website as a “user-focused platform that reflects our mission to save lives, enhance road safety awareness, and deliver world-class public service.

Modern, intrinsically designed layouts, with every page
crafted to be interactive, accessible, and user-friendly.
Content is organized logically to effortlessly guide the user to the information they need.

Speaking on the development, the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed emphasized the Corps’ resolve to digital transformation and public accessibility, noting that the revamped platform reflects its renewed vision of providing transparent, efficient, and technology-driven road safety services to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.

The Corps called on Nigerians both in public and private sector, non-governmental organisations as well as civil society organisations who desire any information on road safety in the country to save themselves the stress by logging in to the website from the comfort of their homes.”

“This advancement is part of the reengineering process started by the management of the Corps which has translated into better services. This includes almost completed effective seamless process of Drivers License acquisition”, the Corps said.
