The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, 9th Assembly (2019-2023), Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, on his well-deserved appointment as “Renewed Hope Ambassador”.
In a congratulatory message made available to TheFact Daily on Wednesday, Hon. Idris affirmed his full support and readiness to collaborate with the Governor in achieving the national mandate.
Recall that Governor Uzodimma was recently appointed by President Bola Tinubu as the pioneer “Renewed Hope Ambassador” and Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation.
With the appointment, Governor Uzodimma is responsible, in collaboration with the All Progressives Congress leadership and the governors, for evangelising the Tinubu administration’s programme.
Also as the Renewed Hope Ambassador, Governor Uzodimma, who also chairs the Progressive Governors Forum, is expected to ensure harmony, inclusiveness and strategic coordination across all levels of the party.
He will also be involved in mobilising and engaging people, and work with the APC governors, who will also be Ambassadors of Hope.
Hon. Idris said the distinguished appointment underpins the confidence reposed in the Uzodimma’s leadership, experience and dedication to national service.
“In entrusting you with this critical responsibility, the Presidency has rightly recognized your capacity to mobilise, engage and unite Nigerians under the banner of renewed hope and inclusive progress.
“As you embark on this national mandate, I wish to affirm my full support and readiness to collaborate with you. You can count on my unwavering cooperation and commitment to work hand in hand with you to ensure the success of your mission, for the benefit of our great Party and the nation at large.
“I believe that under your stewardship, this new role wil strengthen grassroots outreach, galvanize national unity, and amplify the commendable achievements of the administration across all regions.
