Jaiz Bank Wins GIFA 2025 Award

Jaiz Bank Plc, Nigeria’s pioneer Non-Interest Bank, has been announced the Most Progressive Islamic Bank 2025 by the prestigious Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA).

The bank said in a statement on Friday that the announcement was made by the GIFA Awards Committee Chairman, Prof. Humayon Dar.

The Committee reviewed several distinguished nominees in this category and, after careful deliberation based on the GIFA Methodology, decided in favour of Jaiz Bank Plc.

The statement said while receiving the award on behalf of the Bank, Dr. Haruna Musa, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Jaiz Bank, dedicated the recognition to the staff, customers, and stakeholders of the Bank.

“This achievement reflects the collective dedication of our Board, Management, and Staff, as well as the unwavering trust of our valued customers and stakeholders,” Dr. Musa stated.

“At Jaiz Bank, we remain committed to driving innovation, deepening financial inclusion, and upholding the principles of ethical, Shariah-compliant banking. This award is not only a recognition of our progress but also a motivation to continue setting new standards in Islamic finance, both in Nigeria and globally,” he said.

GIFA is a globally recognised platform that honours governments, institutions, and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the growth and sustainability of Islamic banking and finance within the international financial system.

Over the years, the awards have grown into one of the most respected and sought-after recognitions in the industry worldwide.
