The management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has informed that despite the minor derailment of its coach at Jere station in the morning, normal passenger train services between Kaduna-Rigasa and Idu, Abuja, continue.
NRC’s Deputy Director, Public Relations, Yakub Mahmood, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, said all the passengers on board the Kaduna-Rigasa to Idu Abuja arrived at their respective destinations safely.
Meanwhile, the statement revealed that the team of NRC engineers is already at the site to restore the affected locations.
It said, “Nigerian Railway Corporation Management regrets any inconveniences to our affected valued passengers.
“NRC wishes to assure our valued passengers of our efforts towards ensuring their safety and comfort always,” the statement noted.
