Kana Tasks FAAN On Staff Capacity Building

The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Dr. Ibrahim Kana has urged leadership of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to design a sustainable and comprehensive training framework for staff capacity building.

Dr. Ibrahim gave the task on Wednesday during his maiden tour of FAAN following his redeployment to the Ministry.

He stressed the need to prioritize personnel training as a vital component of the reforms.

“The aviation sector demands constant innovation and expertise,” Dr. Ibrahim stated. “I urge everyone to put on their thinking caps and contribute to improving the system. Together, we can elevate Nigeria’s aviation industry to global standards,” he said.

The Permanent Secretary expressed strong confidence in the ongoing transformation within Nigeria’s aviation sector.

He praised the ongoing reforms at FAAN, emphasizing that Kuku’s managerial expertise has been pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery.

Additionally, Kana credited the success recorded at FAAN to the dynamic and visionary leadership of the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo.

He noted that the minister’s proactive policies and strategic direction have created an enabling environment for growth and innovation within the aviation sector.

Reaffirming the ministry’s full support for FAAN, Dr. Ibrahim pledged to work closely with the management to sustain the momentum of development.
