The Kano State Police Command has welcomed 52 Police Inspectors newly promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ACP).
According to the State Command’s spokesperson, SP Nafiu Abubakar, the newly promoted officers were decorated on Thursday by the police chief in the state, CP Bello Sani in conjunction with his management team at the State Headquarters Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi.
The decoration follows the recent promotion by the Police Service Commission (PSC), based on the recommendation of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun.
In his address, CP Bello Sani, who described their promotion as a thing of great joy with a sense of pride, as it is a remarkable transition in their professional career, called for a commensurate level of discipline and responsibility.
On their part, the newly promoted senior officers thanked the CP for his kind gesture and fatherly advise to them and also promised to raise the bar high in discharging their responsibilities.
