Katsina State Governor, Mal. Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved the sum of N45,000 for all the Civil Servants in the state, for the smooth celebration of the forthcoming Eid-El-Kabir.
Governor Radda who disclosed this via his X handle on Saturday explained that out of the N45,000, N30,000 is a loan, while N15,000 is a Sallah package.
Speaking on repayment, he said, a monthly deduction of N30,000 will be conveniently made from the workers’ salaries in July, August, and September, with each installment amounting to N10,000.
The statement read thus:
“With Eid-el-Kabir right around the corner, I have taken a remarkable step to uplift the well-being of the workers in Katsina State. I have given my approval for the disbursement of a loan/advance and Sallah Package, totaling N45,000.00 for each worker in the State, Unified Local Government Service, and Local Education Authorities.
“To ensure a stress-free repayment process, a monthly deduction of N30,000 will be conveniently made from the workers’ salaries in July, August, and September, with each installment amounting to N10,000. Moreover, I have generously granted a Sallah Package of N15,000 to each and every worker.
“This will allow our hardworking civil servants to enjoy the upcoming sallah festival in a more joyful and comfortable atmosphere, despite the prevailing economic challenges”.
