The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has described his State as harmonious and metropolitan, embracing all cultures and tribes in Nigeria.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said this when he received the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Ambassador (Prof.) George Obiozor in his residence on Thursday.
The Governor said that his administration will continue to provide good governance, ensure security of lives and properties and continue to foster harmonious relationships with all the different tribes and ethnic nationalities in the state.
The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Ambassador (Prof.) George Obiozor who addressed the Governor earlier, said that the Igbo nation was renowned for being agents of development and not destruction.
Prof. Obiozor said Ndigbo cannot indulge in any act capable of disrupting the harmonious peace and cordial relationship between Igbo and Yoruba, especially Lagos which is the second home of several Ndigbo.
