The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has felicitated the Muslims across the country on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, urging them to continue to uphold the values of discipline, self-denial, purity, sacrifice and anti-corruption exemplified during Ramadan.
Olukoyede gave the charge in Abuja on Friday, March 20, 2026, in his Sallah message to the nation.
According to him, Muslims demonstrated strength and abiding faith in Almighty Allah throughout the Ramadan period and should remain committed to those virtues beyond the fasting season.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, let us continue to reverence the values of discipline, self-denial, purity, anti-corruption and commitment to higher ideals of life which the Ramadan season truly imbued in us,” he said.
He stressed that national development depends on collective integrity, adding that a better and corruption-free Nigeria is achievable through shared commitment.
“The best of us is what is good for the best of our nation. We will together make Nigeria better and corruption-free,” he said.
