The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to the provision of affordable and high-quality housing for its personnel and the public.
CAS made the reaffirmation on Wednesday, during the occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony of the NAF Treasure City Estate in Port Harcourt.
Speaking at the event, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, emphasized that the project goes beyond infrastructure development.
“We are creating a vibrant community where families can grow, children can play, and lives can flourish. The vision is about building a neighbourhood that embodies comfort, security and unity, which are values that reflect the very essence of our great nation and NAF’s profound respect for those we serve”, Abubakar said.
The Estate, a collaboration between NAF Investment Limited Housing and Construction Company (NAFILHCC) and Primescape Properties Ltd, is set to build on the success of the NAF Harmony Estate, which has been widely recognized for its security, cleanliness, and well-planned infrastructure.
The CAS highlighted that Treasure City Estate will not only provide a secure and comfortable living environment but also contribute positively to the local economy and the broader community.
This initiative aligns with the CAS Command Philosophy, which priorities personnel welfare and infrastructural renewal. The NAF has therefore undertaken significant efforts in acquiring land across various parts of the country to develop accommodations for its personnel to ensure they have the necessary support even after service.

Acknowledging the vital role of stakeholders, the CAS expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Rivers State, traditional rulers, and the people of Rivers State for their unwavering support in bringing the vision of the Treasure City Estate to reality.
“As construction begins, the NAF remains committed to building more than just homes. It aims to create a legacy of hope, progress, and prosperity for generations to come”, the CAS said.
