The 47th Edition of the Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition (NAICE), scheduled to take place from August 5 to August 7, 2024, at Eko Hotel, Lagos, would hold as planned.
Chairman of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Nigeria Council, Salahudeen Tahir, disclosed this in a statement made available on Wednesday.
He said, despite the fact that the nationwide protest coincides with the upcoming NAICE, the event will proceed as planned. Stating that “our priority remains the safety and well-being of all attendees, so we are in constant communication with the relevant agencies and authorities towards ensuring the security of intending participants throughout the duration of the conference.
“We remain committed to delivering a valuable and insightful event, and will continue updating you as the situation progresses. SPE Nigeria Council appreciates your continued support and understanding.
“Please be rest assured that every necessary measure is being considered to guarantee your safety and a qsuccessful conference experience”, he said.
With the theme: “Petroleum Industry Value Chain Optimization: The Inevitability of Midstream and Downstream Development”, the
NAICE 2024 will provide a platform for industry professionals, stakeholders, and enthusiasts to discuss and explore advancements in the petroleum sector, focusing on optimising the midstream and downstream segments of the value chain.
The conference will feature high-profile sessions, keynote addresses, and technical discussions, aimed at driving innovation and growth in the industry.
