The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has condoled with families of those who lost their lives in the ill-fated helicopter crash in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
The condolence message was contained in a statement signed on Monday by NAMA’s Managing Director, Engr.Farouk Umar.
NAMA said,the deceased died in the course of service to the nation.
According to the statement,”the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) hereby commiserates with the families of fellow compatriots who lost their lives in the ill-fated helicopter crash on Thursday, the 24th of October, 2024 in Port Harcourt.
“As an agency, we are deeply grieved by the tragic loss of lives of 8 Nigerians in the course of service to their fatherland. Our hearts go out to their families and loved ones at this difficult and trying moment.
“As we join the rest of the nation to mourn the demise of these outstanding Nigerians who paid the supreme price in the course of contributing to the growth of the Nigerian economy, it is our collective hope that their sacrifice will not be in vain.
“May Almighty God grant their bereaved families and loved ones the courage to bear this irreversible loss and may the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace. Amen,”the statement said.
