The National Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Capt. Chris Najomo as the director general of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
The NCAA disclosed this on Thursday via it’s official X handle @ NigeriaCAA.
TheFactDaily recalled that in December 2023, Najomo was appointed in an acting capacity, as DG NCAA after the President Bola Tinubu suspended the former DG, Capt. Nuhu Musa.
Capt.Nuhu was suspended from office to enable the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) carryout a free investigation into his activities and other senior officials.
However, the NCAA tweeted that,”Capt. Chris Najomo has been confirmed by the National Assembly as substantive DG of the NCAA.
“Until his confirmation, Capt. Najomo served as Ag. DGCA. We wish him a successful tenure, and may civil aviation thrive under his leadership.”
