The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has blamed the current fuel queues in some parts of Lagos State, and Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja on distribution challenges.
Mr. Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the NNPC Ltd., disclosed the development in a statement on Sunday.
He said, the company “regrets the tightness in fuel supply witnessed in some parts of Lagos and the FCT, which is as a result of distribution challenges”.
He, however, disclosed that efforts are ongoing with the relevant stakeholders to restore normalcy, therefore, urged motorists to shun panic buying.
TheFact Daily reports that fuel queues started building up in Abuja since last week, with few filling stations dispensing the products.
