Updated: Organised Labour Suspends Nationwide Strike

Barely 48 hours after declaring Indefinite Nationwide Strike, the Organised Labour made up of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) has suspended the strike.
The TUC President Festus Osifo who disclosed this on Tuesday in Abuja, disclosed a communique will be issued shortly.
Recall that after signing an agreement with the Federal Government on Monday, the Organised Labour promised to look into the demand of the federal government to call off the strike.
However, it said, with the condition that it hears from from its Organs at today’s Meeting.
