PIDOM Pleads Not Guilty On Money Laundering Charge

A self-acclaimed whistleblower, Isaac Bristol Tamunobifiri, also known as PIDOM, has pleaded not guilty to a 9-count charge bothering on, money laundering, cybercrime.

The Nigerian Police Force also alleged the defendant unlawfully obtaining, retaining and disseminating classified secret documents.

After taking his plea, the defendant’s counsel Deji Adeyonju, applied for an application for bail, which was objected by the prosecution counsel.

After listening to the submissions of the lawyers in the suit, the trial Judge, Justice Emeka Nwite adjourned to September 23, for ruling on the bail application.

He therefore, ordered that the defendant be remanded in Kuje correctional center.
