Police Arrest Four Suspected Armed Robbers In Nasarawa

Police operatives in Nasarawa State have arrested four suspected armed robbers and recovered exhibits.
The State Command’s public relations officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel disclosed this is a statement on Monday.
TheFact Daily reports that the Divisional Police officer, Nasarawa Division, CSP Mohammed Padah, around 2:40am on Sunday, 26th May, received a distress call that armed hoodlums attacked some student lodges and a Hotel in Gunki area of Nasarawa LGA, where they injured two students of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa and carted away cell phones and other items.
Responding, police operatives swiftly raced to the scene and rushed the injured victims to General Hospital, Nasarawa, while the criminals were given a hot chase.
Consequently, 4 of the suspects: Usman Abdullahi, Abdullahi Mohammed, Ibrahim Musa and Fa’ad Idris, were arrested.
One blood stained knife, one jack knife, a pair of scissors, 8 iPhones, 27 assorted android phones of different brands, 2 laptops, 5 torch lights, 2 MP3 music players, 4 bags, 6 power banks and a cash sum of N298,000 were recovered from the suspects.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, while commending the commended the Divisional Police officer and his men for their pragmatic display of gallantry and professional dexterity, has urged them to sustain the tempo and assure members of the public that the Command will not recent in its effort to ensure public safety.
