Police Launch Probe Into Death Of Popular Nigerian Crossdresser

The Nigeria Police Force says it has ordered an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a crossdresser, popularly known as ‘Abuja Area Mama’.
The FCT Police Command’s spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh, made this known in a statement on Thursday.
According to Adeh, the Command Control Room responded to a distress call around 07:40am on Thursday, saying that an unidentified lady was seen lying motionless along Katampe – Mabushi express way, following which, a team of detectives was immediately dispatched to the scene.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the individual was a man fully dressed in female clothings with no means of identification on him. He was immediately taken to Maitama District Hospital where doctors on duty confirmed him dead”, she said.
She added further that updates on the matter will be communicated in due course.
The news of his passing has sparked an outpouring of grief on social media, with fans and followers mourning his loss and paying tribute to his memory.
