By Anne Osemekeh, Abuja

The Nigeria Police Force, through the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB), Abuja, has received fugitive suspect Victor Benjamin Fejemirokun from the Ghana Police Service in Accra after a coordinated multi-agency operation.

Disclosing this on Monday, Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said Fejemirokun had fled Nigeria following the abduction and suspected murder of a Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer and her daughter in Osun State.

Acting on credible intelligence that he was hiding in Ghana, the Ghana Police arrested the suspect and promptly informed the Nigeria Police. A team from INTERPOL NCB Abuja travelled to Accra to complete the handover process.
