President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to depart Abuja today, Thursday, August 29, 2024, for Beijing, China, on an official visit.
A statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale said, the President would have a brief layover in the United Arab Emirates.
Ngelale said, in China, the President would meet with President Xi Jinping and would hold meetings with Chinese business leaders on the sidelines of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

He said, the President would be accompanied by senior government officials on the trip.
