President Tinubu Mourns Ex-Customs CG Aliyu Mustapha

President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over the passing of Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha, the Sardauna Adamawa, and a one-time Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service.

This was contained in a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser (Information and Strategy), Mr. Bayo Onanuga, on Thursday.

Mustapha, died on Thursday in Abuja at the age of 76.

President Tinubu, while acknowledging the deceased’s contributions to the growth and development of the Nigerian Customs Service and immense services to his Adamawa home state, said he will be sorely missed by all.

The President extended his condolences to the Adamawa Emirate Council, the government, and the people of Adamawa State on the passing of the traditional leader, and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the late Alhaji Mustapha, Alijanna Firdaus.

Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha, (rtd) OFR served as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service between 1999 and 2003.
