President Tinubu To Observe Eid-El-Kabir In Lagos

President Bola Tinubu would depart Abuja, the nation’s capital for Lagos State this Friday ahead of the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

A State House statement said, the President would observe Eid-El-Kabir in Lagos, where he will also spend the Sallah holidays.

It said, the President would mark the occasion in prayers and reflection on advancing the transformation of Nigeria in line with his Renewed Hope Agenda.

Recalled that the Sultan of Sokoto and President General, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar declared June 26th as Eid-al-Adha.

He declared Friday June 7th 2024, as the First Day of Zulhijjah 1445AH and Sunday, June 16th which will be equivalent to the 10th of Zulhijjah will be marked as this Year’s Eid-El-Kabir.
