Amid uncertainties on the planned nationwide protest, the Federal Fire Service, under the leadership of Controller General, Engr. Jaji Abdulganiyu has announced some safety measures against fire disasters nationwide.
The Service, in a statement on Tuesday said, it has put in place a robust security and safety strategy that includes increased surveillance, expanded deployment of firefighting equipment (such as Ford-built RRVs), and strategic partnerships with local law enforcement agencies to mitigate potential security risks before, during, and after the planned protests across the country.
The statement said, the Controller General Abdulganiyu emphasized the critical role of community engagement, urging citizens to stay vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities or objects to the authorities.
He praised the dedication and professionalism of Federal Fire Service personnel and reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to public service.
“The Federal Fire Service is dedicated to protecting lives, property, and the environment from fire and other emergencies.
“Upholding standards of excellence and professionalism, we are committed to delivering superior fire prevention, protection, and emergency response services to communities nationwide”, the statement said.
