Certain members of the 10th House of Representatives, called ‘Reformers’, have proposed a six-year tenure for the office of the President and State Governors.
Leader of the Group, Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, disclosed this on Monday, June 10, 2024 during a press briefing in Abuja.
The Group similarly proposed two offices for the Vice President in the new political dispensation when signed into law.

In addition, they also canvassed for the rotation of the office of the President between the South and North as part of ways to deepen democracy and good governance.
According to the group leader, no fewer than 50 bills had been initiated for consideration.
