Rivers Gov Calls For Tolerance As Road Projects Progress
Governor of Rivers State, Mr. Nyesom Wike has urged his people to see the inconveniences occassioned by the ongoing road constructions in the State as a price to pay for a better tomorrow.
Governor Wike therefore solicited for a better understanding on the part of the people of Rivers State as the work progresses.
The Governor took to his Twitter handle, @GovWike to convey his message to the people, as retweeted by the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
According to @OfficialPDPNig, @GovWike said: “We realise there is a lot of inconvenience associated with these projects but I urge your understanding as it’s a price we need to pay today for a better tomorrow.
“God Bless Rivers State.
“I am glad to see that work on our 4th and 5th flyover projects being built by Julius Berger at GRA & Rumuola junctions would soon be completed. “The dualisation of Ezimgbu (Mummy B) link road & Tombia Extension is also progressing nicely.”
