Sallah: NAF Chief Hosts Personnel To Morale-boosting Luncheon

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force’s (NAF) commitment to the welfare and operational readiness of its personnel.

He spoke during the 2025 Sallah Luncheon with troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA in Katsina State, where he commended the bravery, resilience, and professionalism of the troops in safeguarding national security.

Air Marshal Abubakar, who was represented by Air Vice Marshal Usman Kandi Abdullahi, while praising the troops’ successful operations, including air interdiction missions and precision strikes that have significantly weakened adversary capabilities, assured them that their sacrifices, often under tough conditions, would not go unrecognised.

He further acknowledged the challenges faced in the operational environment, and urged the troops to remain steadfast in their mission to restore peace.

The NAF boss paid tribute to fallen heroes, honouring their sacrifices and reaffirming NAF’s commitment to their legacy.

Air Marshal Abubakar also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his support, as well as the Minister of Defence, Minister of State of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, and the Governor of Katsina State for their collaboration in enhancing security efforts.
