The Rivers State Police Command has declared wanted a suspect involved in the killing of the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ahoada Division in Rivers State, SP Bako Angbashim.
The wanted notice for the suspect identified as Gift David Opara, aka
2 Baba was put out on the Police Command’s X handle page on Wednesday.
TheFact Daily had reported that the slain DPO paid the supreme price in a gun battle with a significant number of suspected cultists who ambushed him and his team on Friday, 8 September, 2023. In the course of the duel, the police officers ran out of ammunition and made a tactical retreat, while Angbashim held his ground. Regrettably, he sustained fatal injuries and one of his informants was also injured, and is currently receiving medical care for a gunshot wound.
Okpara is declared wanted for conspiracy, cultism, and the murder of SP Bako Angbashim.
